Valvo CR-200 from Talent India is a lower-strength controlled-release tablet combining Sodium Valproate with Valproic Acid. It belongs to the antiepileptic and mood-stabilizer class of medicines.

• Management of certain seizure types
• Mood stabilization in bipolar disorder
• Migraine prevention in selected cases

Valproate raises levels of GABA, a soothing brain chemical, and calms overactive nerve signals. The CR design releases the medicine gradually for smoother blood levels.

Swallow the tablet whole with water as prescribed by your doctor, ideally at a fixed time each day. Taking it with food may reduce stomach upset. Do not crush or chew.

• Nausea or mild stomach pain
• Sleepiness, dizziness or tremor
• Hair thinning or weight gain
• Rare serious effects on liver, pancreas or blood counts — report worrying symptoms promptly

Not suitable in pregnancy; discuss contraception with your doctor. Share history of liver problems and list of current medicines. Avoid alcohol and do not stop suddenly.
