EuRepa-0.5 from Torrent is a meglitinide-class oral diabetes medicine. It is used to control blood sugar spikes after meals in type 2 diabetes.

Repaglinide acts quickly on the pancreas to release insulin in response to a meal. Its short action matches the rise in blood sugar after eating, then fades to lower the risk of low sugar between meals.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, just before meals. Skip the dose if you skip a meal to avoid low blood sugar.

Not for use in type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis. Caution in liver disease. Check sugar levels regularly and carry a quick sugar source. Tell your doctor if you start any new medicine.
