Provanol SR 80 from Intas is a sustained-release prescription tablet containing Propranolol, a non-selective beta-blocker. The SR form releases the medicine slowly so that one dose works through the day.
Uses

- Anxiety with palpitations and tremor
- Some types of irregular heartbeat
How it works
Propranolol blocks the action of adrenaline on the heart and blood vessels. This slows the heart rate, lowers blood pressure and reduces the work the heart has to do, easing symptoms like palpitations and chest discomfort.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, swallowed whole with water. Do not crush or chew the SR capsule. Take at the same time each day.

Precautions
Not suitable in asthma, very slow heart rate, severe heart failure, or certain heart blocks. Inform the doctor about diabetes, thyroid disease, pregnancy, or breastfeeding. Never stop suddenly; the doctor will taper the dose.

Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from sunlight. Keep in the original strip and out of reach of children.
