Nite 5 10 tab

Nite 5 contains nitrazepam, a benzodiazepine medicine used for the short-term relief of severe sleep problems. It is prescription-only and meant to help you fall asleep and stay asleep when other measures have not worked.

Nitrazepam boosts the calming activity of a natural brain chemical called GABA. This slows down brain signals, helping the mind settle and making it easier to drift off.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually shortly before bedtime. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Only use it for the short course your doctor has planned, since long-term use can lead to dependence.

• Daytime drowsiness or a hangover feeling
• Dizziness or unsteadiness
• Headache or mild confusion
• Dry mouth

Avoid alcohol and do not drive or operate machinery the next day if you feel drowsy. Tell your doctor about breathing problems, liver disease, depression, or any history of substance misuse. Not for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless your doctor advises.

Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from children. Keep in the original strip until use.
