Met XL 3D 25/12.5 from Ajanta is a three-drug combination tablet of Metoprolol, Telmisartan and Chlorthalidone. It pairs a beta-blocker, an angiotensin receptor blocker and a diuretic in one tablet for blood pressure control.

Metoprolol slows the heart and reduces its workload. Telmisartan widens blood vessels by blocking angiotensin II. Chlorthalidone helps the body remove extra salt and water. Together they lower blood pressure more effectively than any one alone.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually in the morning with water. Try to take it at the same time daily and do not skip doses.

• Tiredness or slow heart rate
• Increased urination or low potassium

Tell your doctor about kidney issues, asthma, diabetes, gout or pregnancy. Avoid sudden discontinuation and do not combine with other blood pressure medicines without advice.
