About
Amtas M 25 brings together amlodipine and metoprolol, a cardio-selective beta blocker. The combination is favoured when both blood pressure and heart rate need balanced control with less impact on lungs than older beta blockers.

How it works
Amlodipine widens arteries by blocking calcium entry into smooth muscle. Metoprolol selectively blocks beta-1 receptors in the heart, slowing the rate and reducing the force of contraction.
How to take
Swallow one tablet once daily with water, with or after food, as prescribed by your doctor. Take it at the same time each day for steady effect.

Precautions
