About
Met XL 100 from Ajanta contains Metoprolol, a cardio-selective beta-blocker. The XL form is an extended-release tablet that releases the medicine gradually through the day.
Uses

How it works
Metoprolol blocks beta-1 receptors in the heart. This slows the heart rate, reduces the force of contraction and lowers blood pressure, easing the workload on the heart.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually with or just after food. Swallow the tablet whole with water and try to take it at the same time each day.
