WARF-5 from Cipla is a higher-strength Warfarin tablet (5 mg). It is used in long-term blood-thinning treatment when patients need a stronger daily dose.
Uses
- Deep vein thrombosis
- Pulmonary embolism
- Atrial fibrillation with high stroke risk
- After heart valve replacement
- Other clotting disorders as advised
How it works
Warfarin blocks the recycling of vitamin K, reducing clotting factors made by the liver. This makes the blood thinner and reduces the chance of harmful clots.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, at the same time each day. INR blood tests are done regularly to keep the dose safe. Do not change the dose on your own.

Precautions
