Benz Pearl from Lupin contains benzonatate, a non-narcotic cough suppressant used to calm a persistent dry cough.

Benzonatate gently numbs the stretch receptors in the airways and lungs, reducing the cough reflex without affecting the brain's breathing centre.

Swallow the capsule whole with water as prescribed by your doctor. Do not chew, suck or break it, as this can numb the mouth and throat.
