Nintena 100 10 cap

Nintena 100 from Sun Pharma is a specialist prescription capsule containing Nintedanib. It is used in adults with certain serious lung scarring diseases under close medical supervision.

• Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF)
• Other chronic fibrosing lung diseases as advised
• Lung involvement in systemic sclerosis (scleroderma)

Nintedanib blocks specific enzymes called tyrosine kinases that drive the formation of scar tissue in the lungs. By slowing this scarring process, it helps preserve lung function and slows the worsening of breathing problems.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, with food, swallowed whole with water. Do not chew or crush the capsule. Keep all follow-up visits and blood tests as advised.

• Loose motions (very common)
• Nausea or vomiting
• Loss of appetite and weight
• Stomach pain
• Raised liver enzymes

Not for use in pregnancy or breastfeeding. Inform the doctor about liver disease, recent surgery, bleeding problems, or heart disease. Use reliable contraception during and for some time after the course as advised.

Store below 25°C in the original pack, away from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
