About
Nebicard H from Torrent Pharmaceuticals is a combination tablet of Nebivolol and Hydrochlorothiazide. It is prescribed for high blood pressure when one medicine alone is not enough.
Uses
- High blood pressure (hypertension)
- BP not fully controlled by Nebivolol alone
How it works
Nebivolol is a beta-blocker that slows the heart and relaxes blood vessels. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic that helps the kidneys clear extra salt and water, reducing the volume of blood pressing against the vessel walls.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually one tablet in the morning with water. Swallow whole and try to take it at the same time every day.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about asthma, very slow pulse, heart block, kidney or liver problems, gout or diabetes. Do not stop the medicine suddenly. Inform the doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding.
