Styptocid 10 tab

Styptocid Tablets from Stadmed contain Ethamsylate, a haemostatic medicine that doctors prescribe to control or prevent capillary bleeding. It is commonly used in gynaecology and surgical settings.

• Heavy menstrual bleeding
• Bleeding after minor surgery
• Nose bleeds
• Bleeding in newborns (under supervision)
• Capillary bleeding from various causes

Ethamsylate works by improving the stickiness of platelets and strengthening the walls of tiny blood vessels (capillaries). This helps form a clot faster and reduces blood loss without affecting the normal clotting system.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually swallowed whole with a glass of water after food. Do not stop suddenly without medical advice.

• Nausea
• Headache
• Skin rash
• Mild fever
• Stomach discomfort

Tell your doctor if you have low blood pressure, asthma, or porphyria. Inform about pregnancy, breastfeeding, or other blood-related conditions before starting. Stop and consult if a rash or breathing trouble appears.

Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from light. Keep in the original strip until use. Keep out of reach of children.
