How it works
Metoprolol is a beta-blocker that gently slows the heart and reduces the force of each beat by blocking adrenaline action. This brings down blood pressure and eases the workload on the heart.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, swallowed whole with water at the same time each day. Do not crush or chew the tablet. Never stop suddenly even if you feel fine.

Precautions
