Sorbitrate 5 from Abbott contains isosorbide dinitrate at a lower strength, used to manage and prevent chest pain (angina).

• Prevents angina episodes
• Relieves sudden chest pain when placed under the tongue

Isosorbide dinitrate widens blood vessels, easing the work the heart has to do and improving blood flow to heart muscle.

Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Some doses are swallowed, others are placed under the tongue for faster action.

• Headache
• Dizziness, especially on standing
• Flushing

Tell your doctor about low blood pressure or use of medicines for erectile dysfunction. Avoid sudden posture changes.
