Imeglyn 1000 10 tab

Imeglyn 1000 from Zydus contains Imeglimin, an oral anti-diabetic medicine. It is used along with diet and exercise to control blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes.

Imeglimin is a first-in-class oral anti-diabetic. It works on the liver, muscles and pancreas: it helps the pancreas release insulin only when sugar is high, improves muscle response to insulin, and reduces extra sugar made by the liver.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water, usually with morning and evening meals. Continue your diet, exercise and sugar-monitoring routine alongside.

• Nausea or vomiting
• Loose motions
• Stomach discomfort
• Mild dizziness
• Low sugar if combined with insulin or sulfonylureas

Tell your doctor about kidney problems, liver disease or any other medicines. Avoid in pregnancy and breastfeeding unless advised. Watch for low-sugar signs (sweating, shakiness, hunger) when used with other diabetes drugs.

Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from sunlight and moisture. Keep in the original strip and out of reach of children.
