About
Aquazide 12.5 contains hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg, a thiazide diuretic or water pill. The lower strength is often used for blood pressure control, alone or with other medicines.

How it works
Hydrochlorothiazide acts on the kidneys to increase the removal of sodium and water through urine. This reduces fluid volume in the blood vessels, helping to lower blood pressure.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually in the morning to avoid frequent night-time urination. Drink fluids as advised and have regular blood pressure and electrolyte checks.

Precautions
