Stozic 50 10 tab

Stozic 50 from Intas contains sitagliptin, a medicine from the DPP-4 inhibitor group. It is used to help control blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes.

• Used alone or with other diabetes medicines as advised

Sitagliptin blocks the DPP-4 enzyme, which lets the body's natural incretin hormones work longer. This boosts insulin release after meals and reduces the amount of sugar made by the liver.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, with or without food, at about the same time each day. Swallow the tablet whole with water.

• Headache or dizziness
• Stuffy or runny nose, sore throat
• Stomach upset; rarely, joint pain

Tell your doctor about any kidney problems, history of pancreatitis or gallstones. Watch for low blood sugar if taken with insulin or sulfonylureas, and keep up regular sugar checks.

Store below 25 C in a dry place away from sunlight. Keep out of children's reach.
