Lafaxid 10 10 tab

Lafaxid 10 from Zuventus contains lafutidine, a histamine H2-receptor blocker that lowers the acid produced by the stomach. It is used for acid-related conditions such as reflux and ulcer disease, where bringing acid levels down helps healing and eases symptoms.

• Acidity and heartburn

Lafutidine blocks histamine H2 receptors on the acid-making cells of the stomach lining, so they release less acid. With less acid around, irritated tissue can settle and ulcers get a chance to heal.

Swallow the tablet whole with water as prescribed by your doctor, with or after a meal. Try to take it around the same time each day and complete the full course even if symptoms ease early.

• Constipation or diarrhoea

• Skin rash in some people

Tell your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or take other long-term medicines. Persistent stomach pain, vomiting, or black stools need urgent review rather than self-treatment.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep in the original strip and out of reach of children.
