Pilomax 10 tab

Pilomax from Sun Pharma is a tablet containing pilocarpine, a medicine used to relieve dry mouth in certain conditions. It is commonly prescribed for people with reduced saliva due to Sjogren's syndrome or after radiotherapy of the head and neck.

• Helps improve chewing, swallowing and speech

Pilocarpine stimulates the muscarinic receptors on the salivary glands, encouraging them to produce more saliva. This helps moisten the mouth and makes day-to-day activities like eating and talking more comfortable.

Swallow the tablet with water as prescribed by your doctor, usually with or just after meals. Sip water through the day to support comfort.

• Increased sweating
• Nausea or runny nose
• Frequent urination
• Flushing or headache
• Blurred vision in dim light

Tell your doctor about asthma, COPD, heart disease, glaucoma, gallstones or kidney stones before starting. Avoid driving at night if vision feels blurred. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep the strip closed and out of reach of children.
