Lariago is a well-known prescription tablet from Ipca that contains chloroquine, a long-established antimalarial medicine.

• Helps treat certain types of malaria
• Used to prevent malaria in some regions
• Used in some autoimmune conditions under medical advice

Chloroquine enters the malaria parasite inside red blood cells and disrupts its ability to digest haemoglobin, killing the parasite and clearing the infection.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, with or after food to reduce stomach upset. Complete the full course even if you start to feel better.

• Nausea, vomiting or stomach upset
• Headache or dizziness
• Itching, especially in some users

Tell your doctor about eye problems, heart conditions, liver or kidney issues, and all other medicines. Long-term use may need eye check-ups. Use with care in pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius in a dry place, away from sunlight. Keep in the original strip and out of reach of children.
