Bistas contains colloidal bismuth subcitrate, a gastric protectant often used in regimens for stomach ulcers and H. pylori infection. It coats the stomach lining for added protection.

Bismuth subcitrate forms a protective layer over the ulcer base, shields it from acid and also has a direct effect against H. pylori, the bacteria linked to ulcers.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually on an empty stomach. Avoid milk, antacids or other medicines around the same time unless advised.

• Constipation

Tell your doctor about kidney problems or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use for long periods without medical advice.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius in a dry place. Keep in the original strip, away from moisture and out of reach of children.
