Opiprol 100 from Sun Pharma contains Opipramol, a tricyclic-related medicine used for anxiety and somatoform disorders where physical symptoms come from worry.

• Generalised anxiety
• Somatoform disorders
• Restlessness and tension linked to anxiety

Opipramol acts on sigma receptors and certain other receptors in the brain. This is thought to ease anxiety and the body symptoms that come with it, such as a racing heart or stomach upset.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, with water, with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole. Do not stop suddenly without your doctor's advice as feelings can rebound.

• Drowsiness or tiredness
• Mild dizziness
• Constipation

Tell your doctor about heart, liver or kidney problems, glaucoma, prostate issues, epilepsy, or pregnancy and breastfeeding. Avoid alcohol and do not drive until you know how it affects you. List all other medicines as some can interact.

Store below 25 degrees C in a dry place, away from sunlight. Keep in the original strip and out of reach of children.
