Dilnip Trio 6.25 10 tab

Dilnip Trio from Lupin is a fixed-dose combination tablet that brings together three blood-pressure agents in one pill. It is generally used by adults whose hypertension needs more than a single medicine to stay controlled.

Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels so the heart pumps against less resistance. Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker that prevents a hormone from tightening the vessels. Chlorthalidone is a thiazide-like diuretic that helps the kidneys flush out extra salt and water. Together, the three actions bring the pressure down more smoothly than any one of them alone.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually swallowed whole with water at the same time each day. Try not to skip doses, even if you feel well.

• Mild headache, flushing or dizziness, especially when you first start
• Ankle swelling or tiredness
• Increased urination in the first few days
• Occasional dry cough or muscle cramps

Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if you have kidney disease, gout, low potassium or severe liver problems. Stand up slowly from sitting to avoid lightheadedness, and have your blood pressure and kidney function reviewed as advised.

Keep the strip in its carton, below 25 degrees Celsius, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
