Rasalect 1 10 tab

Rasalect from Sun Pharma contains Rasagiline, an MAO-B inhibitor used in Parkinson's disease. It can be prescribed on its own in early disease or together with levodopa-based treatment.

• Eases symptoms of Parkinson's disease
• Helps reduce stiffness, tremor, and slow movement
• May smooth out off-time when used with levodopa

Rasagiline blocks the enzyme that breaks down dopamine in the brain, helping keep more dopamine available so movement feels smoother.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Usually swallowed whole with water, with or without food, at the same time each day.

• Headache or dizziness
• Joint pain
• Indigestion or dry mouth
• Low blood pressure on standing

Share a full list of your medicines with your doctor, especially antidepressants, pethidine, and some cough or cold remedies, as serious interactions are possible. Mention any liver problems and avoid large amounts of tyramine-rich foods.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius in a dry place away from sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
