How it works
Cilnidipine relaxes blood vessels by blocking calcium channels. Telmisartan blocks a hormone that tightens vessels. Together they widen vessels and reduce blood pressure more effectively.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, swallowed whole with water, at the same time each day.
Side effects
- Headache or dizziness
- Ankle swelling
- Tiredness
- Mild muscle or back pain
Precautions
Not for use in pregnancy. Inform your doctor about kidney, liver or heart issues. Stand up slowly to avoid dizziness, especially when starting.
