Diamicron MR 30 10 Tabs

Diamicron MR from Servier contains gliclazide in a modified-release form, used to help manage blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes.

• Helps lower blood sugar in type 2 diabetes
• Used along with diet and exercise
• May be combined with other diabetes medicines

Gliclazide is a sulfonylurea that stimulates the pancreas to release more insulin, which helps the body lower raised blood-sugar levels.

Swallow the tablet whole with breakfast, as prescribed by your doctor. Do not crush or chew it. Eat regular meals and do not skip them.

• Low blood sugar (hypoglycaemia)
• Weight changes
• Nausea or stomach upset
• Rare skin rash

Learn to recognise low blood-sugar symptoms (shakiness, sweating, confusion) and how to treat them. Tell your doctor about kidney or liver problems, other medicines and alcohol use.
