About
Nebistar SA from Lupin is a fixed-dose combination of Nebivolol, a beta-blocker, and S-Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker. It is used to control blood pressure when one medicine alone is not enough.
Uses

How it works
Nebivolol slows the heart rate and relaxes blood vessels by blocking beta-1 receptors, while S-Amlodipine widens the arteries by stopping calcium from entering vessel muscle cells. Together they bring blood pressure down through two different actions.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, ideally at the same time each day, with or without food. Do not skip doses or stop the tablet on your own as blood pressure may rise sharply.

Precautions
Inform your doctor about asthma, liver problems, very low heart rate, or pregnancy. Stand up slowly from sitting or lying to avoid dizziness. Limit alcohol while on this medicine.
