Amantrel 15 Tab

Amantrel contains amantadine, an antiviral and anti-Parkinson medicine. It is used to help manage stiffness, tremor and slowness in Parkinson's disease.

• Parkinson's disease symptoms
• Drug-induced movement disorders
• Influenza A in some cases
• Levodopa-induced dyskinesia

Amantadine increases dopamine release in the brain and gently blocks NMDA receptors, which together help improve movement control and reduce stiffness.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually with water and earlier in the day to limit sleep disturbance. Do not stop suddenly.

• Dizziness
• Difficulty sleeping
• Dry mouth
• Blotchy skin on legs

Tell your doctor about kidney problems, heart failure, seizures or glaucoma. Stand up slowly to reduce dizziness and avoid driving until you know how it affects you.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius in a dry place, away from sunlight and out of children's reach.
