Pivasta 4 from Zydus contains Pitavastatin in a higher strength used when stronger cholesterol control is needed. It belongs to the statin group and is taken under regular medical follow-up.

Pitavastatin reduces the liver's own production of cholesterol by blocking a specific enzyme. The liver then pulls more bad cholesterol out of the blood, improving the overall lipid picture.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, swallowed whole with water at the same time daily. Stay on the diet and exercise plan your doctor suggests.

Inform your doctor of liver, kidney or thyroid problems and any medicines you use. Avoid in pregnancy and breastfeeding. Report sudden muscle pain, weakness or dark urine immediately.
