Igurati-25 from Ipca contains Iguratimod, a disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drug (DMARD). It is prescribed by specialists to treat active rheumatoid arthritis in adults.

Iguratimod is a small-molecule DMARD that calms the overactive immune cells driving joint inflammation. It reduces certain inflammatory signals such as cytokines and antibody production, which lowers joint pain, swelling and stiffness over time.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. The tablet is usually swallowed whole with water, with or after food. It works slowly, so improvement may take a few weeks. Do not stop on your own.

Regular blood tests for liver function and blood counts are important. Avoid in active liver disease, serious infections and pregnancy. Tell your doctor about all other medicines, especially blood thinners.
