About
Embeta XR-75 from Intas is a pack of 15 extended-release tablets of metoprolol succinate, a selective beta-1 blocker. The XR form is designed for steady, all-day control with one dose.
Uses
- High blood pressure
- Long-term angina (chest pain)
- Stable heart failure
- Helps control certain irregular heartbeats
How it works
It blocks beta-1 receptors in the heart, slowing the heart rate and lightening each beat. This lowers blood pressure and the oxygen demand on the heart.
How to take
Swallow the tablet whole with water, as prescribed by your doctor. Do not crush or chew it. Take it at the same time daily, with or just after food.

Precautions
