About

Glucored Forte is a combination diabetes tablet from Sun Pharma. It pairs a classic sulfonylurea with a biguanide to support adults with type 2 diabetes.

Uses

  • Manages blood sugar in type 2 diabetes
  • Used when single-drug therapy is insufficient

How it works

Glibenclamide stimulates the pancreas to release more insulin. Metformin reduces sugar production by the liver and improves how cells use glucose. The two together attack high sugar through different mechanisms.

How to take

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually with a meal to ease stomach upset. Swallow whole with water. Do not skip meals after taking the tablet.
