TriglucoRed Forte 10 Tab

TriglucoRed Forte from Sun Pharma is a triple-combination tablet for type 2 diabetes that brings together Glibenclamide (a sulfonylurea), Metformin (a biguanide) and Pioglitazone (a thiazolidinedione). It is used when one or two drugs are not enough to control blood sugar.

Glibenclamide pushes the pancreas to release more insulin. Metformin lowers sugar production by the liver and improves how the body uses insulin. Pioglitazone makes muscle and fat cells more sensitive to insulin. Together they tackle high sugar from three different angles.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually with or just after a meal to lower the chance of stomach upset and low sugar. Do not skip meals after taking it.

• Low blood sugar (shakiness, sweating, hunger)

Tell the doctor about kidney, liver or heart problems, history of heart failure or bladder issues. Carry sugar or sweets in case of a low. Avoid heavy alcohol. Get periodic kidney, liver and HbA1c tests.
