Lasix Injection 4 ml

Lasix Injection is a prescription form of furosemide, a loop diuretic, supplied as a sterile solution for injection. It is used when a fast effect is needed in fluid overload.

Furosemide blocks salt reabsorption in the kidneys' loop of Henle, leading to rapid loss of salt and water in urine, which quickly reduces fluid load in the body.

Given by a doctor or trained nurse as a slow intravenous or intramuscular injection in a clinic or hospital setting, as prescribed by your doctor.

• Frequent urination
• Drop in blood pressure or dizziness
• Low potassium, sodium or magnesium

Used under medical supervision with monitoring of blood pressure, urine output and blood salts. Inform the doctor about other medicines, kidney, liver or hearing problems.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius in a dry place, away from light. Keep in the original pack and out of reach of children. Do not use if the solution is discoloured.
