Momate Lotion 30 ml

Momate Lotion from Glenmark contains Mometasone Furoate, a medium-strength topical corticosteroid. The lotion form is convenient for the scalp and hairy areas where creams are messy.

• Scalp psoriasis
• Seborrhoeic dermatitis on the scalp
• Eczema on hairy areas
• Itchy, inflamed skin patches on the body

Mometasone is a synthetic corticosteroid. It calms the overactive immune signals in the skin that cause redness, itch, swelling and flaking, giving the area a chance to settle and heal.

Use as prescribed by your doctor. Apply a few drops to the affected scalp or skin and gently rub in. Wash hands after use unless the hands themselves are being treated. Avoid eyes and broken skin.

• Mild burning or stinging at first
• Dryness or peeling
• Thinning of skin if used too long
• Acne-like bumps
• Change in skin colour at the treated area

Do not use on the face, underarms, groin or large areas unless the doctor allows it. Avoid long, continuous use. Do not cover the area with tight dressing. Not for use in skin infections without treating the infection first.

Store below 25°C, upright, away from sunlight and heat. Keep the cap closed tightly. Keep out of reach of children.
