Depotex 40 Injection from Zydus contains Methylprednisolone Acetate, a long-acting corticosteroid. Doctors use it to control severe inflammation, allergic reactions and joint problems.

Methylprednisolone is a glucocorticoid that suppresses the body's inflammatory response and calms an overactive immune system. The acetate form releases the medicine slowly, giving a longer effect.

Give as prescribed by your doctor. It is administered as an intramuscular, intra-articular or soft-tissue injection by a doctor or trained nurse. Do not self-inject.
