Lox 2% Jelly 30 g

Lox 2% Jelly from Neon Laboratories contains Lignocaine Hydrochloride in a smooth jelly base. It is a topical local anaesthetic used to numb mucous membranes before certain medical procedures.

• Lubrication and numbing for catheter insertion
• Surface anaesthesia for endoscopy or cystoscopy
• Eases discomfort during minor procedures

Lignocaine blocks sodium channels in nerve endings on the surface it touches, stopping pain signals from reaching the brain so the area feels numb for a short time.

Apply as prescribed by your doctor, usually by the healthcare team performing the procedure. Use only on the area advised and avoid swallowing.

• Mild burning or stinging on application
• Numbness lasting an hour or two
• Rare allergic rash
• Dizziness if absorbed in large amounts

Do not apply to broken or infected skin unless advised. Tell the doctor about heart problems, liver disease or allergy to anaesthetics. Use with caution in children and elderly.
