Dexona Injection from Zydus Healthcare contains dexamethasone sodium phosphate, an injectable corticosteroid used in hospital and clinical settings for inflammation and certain emergencies.

• Severe allergic or inflammatory conditions
• Some shock, swelling and autoimmune flare-ups
• Selected hormonal and respiratory conditions

Dexamethasone is a strong synthetic glucocorticoid that quickly damps down inflammatory and immune responses, helping reduce swelling and symptoms in acute situations.

Given by a doctor or nurse as an injection into a vein or muscle, as prescribed by your doctor. Do not self-administer.

• Flushing or warmth at injection time
• Raised blood sugar or blood pressure
• Mood, sleep or appetite changes
• Higher risk of infection with repeated use

Tell the team about diabetes, infections, ulcers, glaucoma or recent vaccinations. Repeated or long courses need careful tapering. Avoid live vaccines unless advised.

Store the vial below 25°C, away from light. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children. Use only under medical supervision.
