About
Crema Gel from Abbott India contains diltiazem in a topical form. It is used to ease the pain of anal fissures by relaxing the surrounding muscle.
Uses

How it works
Diltiazem is a calcium-channel blocker. Applied to the skin around the fissure, it relaxes the tight muscle, improves local blood flow and gives the area a chance to heal.
How to take
Apply a small amount around the back passage as prescribed by your doctor. Wash hands before and after use, and follow the full course advised.
Side effects
- Mild burning or itching at the site
- Headache
- Skin irritation
- Dizziness (uncommon)
Precautions
For external use around the back passage only. Avoid the eyes and broken skin elsewhere. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or have low blood pressure.
