About

Mucolite LS Syrup from Dr. Reddy's blends levosalbutamol, a short-acting bronchodilator, with ambroxol, a mucolytic, and guaifenesin, an expectorant. The trio helps open airways and clear thick mucus.

Uses

  • Bronchitis and chest congestion
  • Asthma-related cough (as advised)
  • Cough from cold and flu

How it works

Levosalbutamol relaxes the muscles around the airways for easier breathing. Ambroxol thins sticky mucus, and guaifenesin makes secretions watery so they can be coughed up more easily.

How to take

Shake the bottle well. Measure the dose with the cap or spoon provided and take as prescribed by your doctor. Drink warm fluids to help mucus clearance.

Precautions
