About
Chericof LS Syrup from Sun Pharma is a cough and cold preparation that combines a bronchodilator, a mucus-thinning agent and an expectorant. It is prescribed for wet, chesty coughs linked to airway tightness.
Uses
- Productive cough with thick mucus
- Cough linked to mild bronchospasm
- Chest congestion in bronchitis
How it works
Levosalbutamol relaxes the muscles around the airways so breathing feels easier. Ambroxol thins sticky mucus, and guaiphenesin loosens it further so it is easier to cough out.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor. Shake the bottle well and use the measuring cup. Drinking plenty of water helps the mucus stay loose.

- Dry mouth
Precautions
Tell your doctor if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes or thyroid problems. Use cautiously in young children and only on medical advice during pregnancy.
