Walamycin DS Syrup 30 ml

Walamycin DS Syrup from Wallace contains Colistin in a stronger paediatric form. It is used for certain gut infections in children and is prescribed by doctors when other antibiotics may not be suitable.

Colistin is a polymyxin antibiotic. Taken by mouth, it acts mainly inside the gut, damaging the outer layer of harmful bacteria so they cannot survive, while being poorly absorbed into the body.

Give as prescribed by your doctor. Shake the bottle well before each dose and measure using the cup or spoon provided. Complete the full course as advised.

Tell the doctor about kidney problems or other medicines being taken. Do not use without a prescription. Stop and consult if rash, weakness, or unusual symptoms appear.

Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from light. Once opened, use within the time advised on the pack. Keep out of reach of children.
