Faronem Syrup 12 g/30 ml

Faronem Syrup from Sun Pharma is an oral antibiotic syrup containing Faropenem. It is prescribed for children and patients who find it easier to take liquid medicines for bacterial infections.

Faropenem is a beta-lactam antibiotic that breaks down the wall around bacteria. Without this wall, the bacteria cannot survive and the infection clears.

Give as prescribed by your doctor. Shake the bottle well, measure with the cup or spoon provided and give after a small meal to reduce stomach upset. Complete the full course.

Tell the doctor about any penicillin allergy, kidney problems or other ongoing medicines. Stop and contact the doctor if rash, swelling of face or breathing difficulty occurs.

Store below 25°C in a dry place. Once reconstituted with water, follow the timeline mentioned on the label and keep the cap tightly closed. Do not freeze.
