Linares Trio from Eris Lifesciences is a triple-action diabetes tablet that combines Linagliptin, Dapagliflozin and Metformin. Doctors prescribe it for adults with type 2 diabetes who need stronger control with one convenient tablet.

Metformin reduces sugar made by the liver and improves insulin use. Linagliptin, a DPP-4 inhibitor, keeps incretin hormones active so the pancreas releases more insulin after meals. Dapagliflozin, an SGLT2 inhibitor, makes the kidneys flush extra sugar out through urine.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow whole with water, preferably with or just after a meal. Drink plenty of water through the day.

• Low blood sugar when combined with insulin or sulfonylureas

Tell your doctor about kidney, liver or pancreas problems and any past lactic acidosis or diabetic ketoacidosis. Watch for signs of dehydration. Stay well hydrated and report severe stomach pain promptly.
