Cospiaq 25 from Torrent is a modern oral diabetes tablet that helps adults with type-2 diabetes manage blood sugar by working through the kidneys rather than the pancreas.

Empagliflozin is an SGLT2 inhibitor. It blocks a sugar-reabsorbing channel in your kidneys, so extra glucose leaves the body through urine instead of building up in the blood.

Swallow whole with a glass of water in the morning, with or without food, as prescribed by your doctor.

Drink plenty of water during the day. Maintain good genital hygiene to lower infection risk. Tell your doctor if you feel unusually tired, breathless, or have stomach pain (rare but serious DKA can occur). Not suitable in type-1 diabetes or advanced kidney disease.
