Dothip 50 Tablet from Microlabs contains Dothiepin (Dosulepin), a tricyclic antidepressant. It is a prescription medicine used for mood disorders under close medical supervision.

• Moderate to severe depression
• Depression with anxiety
• Selected chronic pain conditions (as advised by doctor)

Dothiepin works in the brain by raising the levels of serotonin and noradrenaline, two chemicals linked to mood. Over a few weeks of regular use, it helps relieve low mood, poor sleep and constant worry.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually swallowed whole with water. It is commonly advised at bedtime as it can make you sleepy. Continue the course even after you start feeling better; your doctor will guide when and how to stop.

• Sleepiness
• Dry mouth and constipation
• Weight gain
• Blurred vision
• Dizziness on standing
• Irregular heartbeat (rare)

Not suitable if you have recent heart attack, severe heart rhythm problems or untreated glaucoma. Inform the doctor about liver disease, prostate trouble or pregnancy. Avoid alcohol and risky activities like driving until you know your response.

Keep below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Protect from light and moisture. Keep in the original pack and out of reach of children.
