Defcort 6 tablets from Macleods contain a low strength of Deflazacort, a glucocorticoid (corticosteroid). The lower strength is often used as a maintenance dose or for milder conditions and for children.

How it works
Deflazacort changes in the body into an active form that calms inflammation and slows down immune cells that attack the body. This reduces swelling, pain and other symptoms of the disease.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water, usually with food or milk to protect the stomach. Never stop suddenly; the doctor will lower the dose slowly when it is safe.

Precautions
