About

Istamet D IR from Sun Pharma is a triple combination of dapagliflozin, sitagliptin and metformin used in type 2 diabetes when blood sugar needs control from three different angles.

How it works

Dapagliflozin helps the kidneys remove extra sugar through urine, sitagliptin boosts gut hormones that release insulin, and metformin lowers sugar produced by the liver and improves insulin use.

How to take

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily with food. Swallow whole with water and drink enough fluids through the day.

  • Nausea or stomach upset

  • Low blood sugar with other diabetes drugs

Precautions
