Serta 25 from Torrent Pharmaceuticals is a low-strength Sertraline tablet, an SSRI antidepressant. The lower dose is often used to start treatment or for patients who need a gentle introduction to the medicine.

Sertraline gently raises serotonin levels in the brain, the chemical that supports steady mood and calm thinking. Regular daily use helps the brain adjust and improves mood and anxiety over a few weeks.

Take with water, with or without food, as prescribed by your doctor. Try to take it at the same time each day. Do not stop suddenly; the doctor will lower the dose slowly if needed.
