Arkamin

Arkamin from Torrent contains clonidine, a centrally acting medicine used mainly to manage high blood pressure. It may also be used for certain other conditions on a doctor's advice.

Clonidine stimulates alpha-2 receptors in the brain, which reduces the outflow of nerve signals that constrict blood vessels and raise heart rate. The result is calmer blood vessels and lower pressure.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, with or without food, at the same times each day. Do not stop suddenly, as this can cause a sharp rise in blood pressure.
